Old Device, New Life Long, long ago, in a far away land, a super-device was purchased by Mario Menezes. A compulsive technology shopaholic, Mario bought the “Impact Acoustics 3-Play Video/Digital Audio Selector” on a whim. Eventually, the device got lost in the shuffle and messiness of the Menezes household. As time went on, the device was forgotten, both in the Menezes household and the real world (the warranty is no longer valid and the company’s website is no longer running). Little did Mario know that the device would one day return to its original form of glory. When asked by his daughter for a device she could take apart for a digital studies project, Mario produced the “Impact Acoustics 3-Play Video/Digital Audio Selector”. And so began a new life for the device, one of immense hope and educational benefit... this is that story.
